"Cadwell Park 24th July 2016: A Spectacular Display of Vintage Cars and Racing Excellence" On a sunny summer day, Cadwell Park came alive with the roar of engines and the excitement of vintage car enthusiasts. The event showcased an impressive lineup of classic automobiles, each with its own unique story to tell. Amongst the crowd was CM14 9996 driven by Chris Jackson, piloting the iconic Alvis Firefly Special. Its timeless design turned heads as it gracefully maneuvered through the twists and turns of the track. Stephen Riddington followed closely behind in his Riley 12-4 Special (CM14 9966), showcasing both elegance and power. The racing spirit continued with CM15 1301, Simon Blakeney-Edwards behind the wheel of his Austin 7 Special. This nimble machine proved that size doesn't always matter on the racetrack. Richard Iliffe's Riley Kestrel 12-4 Special (CM15 0022) also made its presence known, effortlessly gliding along the circuit. Mark Walker took everyone by surprise with his Thunderbug (CM15 0214), a true testament to creativity and innovation in automotive engineering. Ng Yushan commanded attention in his Frazer Nash Super Sports (CM15 0215), capturing hearts with its sleek lines and undeniable charm. Andy King pushed boundaries in his MG PB Cream Cracker (CM15 0237), while Matt Shepherd showcased skillful driving in his Austin Seven (CM15 O244). David Spence and Stuart Roper-Marshall impressed spectators with their Austin Seven Specials (CM15 O251). Nick Haywood-Cook demonstrated precision driving skills aboard his Austin Seven Monoposto (CM15 O272). Darrell Woods left everyone breathless as he sped past them in his Cooper Mk XII (CM15 O341).
