Step back in time and explore the rich history of a Caribbean country. This captivating collection of historic photographs takes us on a journey to ancient Rome, Italy, and Greece, offering glimpses into the past that are both intriguing and awe-inspiring. One photograph transports us to the ruins of the Forum in Rome, circa 1880. As we gaze upon this digitally restored reproduction of an original from the 19th century, we can't help but marvel at the grandeur that once existed within these crumbling walls. The view of the Capitol in all its glory reminds us of Rome's status as a powerful empire. In another image, we find ourselves amidst a bustling curiosity seller market in Havana, Cuba. This glimpse into 19th-century life is brought to life through a digitally improved reproduction. The exact date may be unknown, but it doesn't diminish our fascination with this historical scene. The Campidoglio or Capitol building stands proudly in yet another photo from 1767 Rome. This digital reproduction allows us to appreciate its architectural beauty even centuries later. We imagine what it must have been like during those times when this structure was new and vibrant. Moving on to gladiatorial history, we encounter a statue depicting a wounded Murmillo warrior from ancient Rome's Museum of the Capitol. With its intricate details preserved through digital restoration techniques, this piece serves as a testament to Roman strength and valor. A whimsical touch comes with an image showcasing a marble monkey statue also found within Rome's Museum of the Capitol. Its playful presence adds charm amidst all these historical wonders. We then venture towards Athens where we discover the Temple of Vesta between the Capitol and Palatine Hill. Serving as both sacred fire receiver and relic storage space since 1767 (according to our digital reproduction), this circular temple holds secrets waiting for curious minds to unravel. Returning once more to Rome's Piazza del Campidoglio brings us face to face with the New Capitol.
