Centaurea cyanus, commonly known as cornflowers, add a vibrant touch to the landscapes of various regions. In Castellucio di Norcia, alongside poppies, these delicate blue flowers create a picturesque scene. Orvieto in Umbria showcases the beauty of cornflowers growing on fallow fields during June. Blurred motion captures the enchanting dance of corn marigolds and other meadow flowers on a windy day in the UK. While locally rare at certain sites, Centaurea cyanus still manages to captivate with its stunning blue petals. Against soft focus white flowers, this blue flower stands out beautifully. Witnessing a red-tailed bumblebee taking off from a Cornflower is truly mesmerizing. From Germany's Bavaria to South Tyrol in Italy, cornflowers grace different corners of Europe with their presence. In Surrey, UK, they bloom proudly in March while wildflowers like poppies and ox-eye daisies join them abundantly near Monteleone di Spoleto in Umbria during May. In Hessen, Germany, cornflowers harmoniously coexist with poppies amidst wheat fields. Whether it's their striking color or their ability to enhance any landscape they inhabit - Centaurea cyanus continues to be an emblematic symbol of natural beauty.
