Born into a musical family, he followed in the footsteps of his famous father, Dave Brubeck, and became an accomplished bassist and trombonist. One can only imagine the incredible experiences Chris had while performing with The Dave Brubeck Quartet. From their concert at the Forum Theatre in Hatfield, Hertfordshire in 1983 to their rehearsals on stage at the Royal Festival Hall in London in 1979, Chris was able to witness firsthand the magic that this legendary group created. The quartet's performances at the Capital Radio Jazz Festival were undoubtedly memorable moments for both Chris and audiences alike.
