Christiaan Andriessen was a Dutch painter and draughtsman known for his intricate and detailed still life paintings. Born in Amsterdam in 1775, he came from a family of artists and musicians, which greatly influenced his artistic development. Andriessen's work often featured elaborate arrangements of fruits, flowers, and other objects, meticulously rendered with precision and realism.
