Meanwhile, across the ocean on board RMS Titanic, passengers contribute to the Mansion House Relief Fund through charitable clippings. A wandering journeyman in Rottweil, Germany embarks on a timeless adventure as depicted in a historical woodcut from circa 1870. Moving beyond courtly scenes brings us face-to-face with Roman conquests as they destroy a Germanic village at Marcus Aurelius' Victory Column in Rome. This powerful image has been meticulously restored from an original 19th-century artwork—its exact date lost but its impact preserved. Unearthing ancient burial practices unveils an old Germanic burial site adorned with jewelry—a poignant reminder of our ancestors' customs and beliefs. Thanks to digital restoration techniques applied to this 19th-century reproduction, we can marvel at this archaeological treasure once more. Lastly, we pay homage to Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Seydlitz, a legendary German cavalry general.
