Step back in time and indulge in the glamorous world of cocktails. From the silver screen to iconic advertisements, they have always been a symbol of sophistication and style. In Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece "The Lady Vanishes" (1938), Googie Withers, Margaret Lockwood, and Sally Stewart sip on exquisite cocktails as they unravel a thrilling mystery. The allure of these drinks is undeniable, captivating both the characters and viewers alike. Booths Gin took center stage in a 1937 advertisement that showcased its timeless appeal. A classic gin martini served with elegance and grace - this image epitomizes the artistry behind crafting the perfect cocktail. Sobranie cigarettes also joined forces with cocktails in their 1963 advertisement, highlighting how these two indulgences complement each other flawlessly. As smoke curls through the air, it intertwines with the aroma of Seagers Gin from another enticing ad. Transporting us further back to the roaring 1920s is an image capturing a dapper pair enjoying libations at a bustling bar. Their glasses clink together amidst laughter and jazz music – an embodiment of carefree revelry during Prohibition. Even biscuit tins embraced cocktail culture. Huntley and Palmers presented their Cocktail biscuit tin lid as an ode to mixology mastery - each cookie representing a miniature work of art that perfectly accompanies your favorite drink. The Gargoyle club was not only known for its vibrant atmosphere but also for featuring Booths Dry Gin prominently in its advertisements. This exclusive establishment became synonymous with refined taste and unforgettable evenings spent sipping on meticulously crafted concoctions. Gebrauchsgrafik illustration from 1928 transports us into an era where creativity flowed freely alongside spirits. Bold colors dance across paper, mirroring the vibrancy found within every glass raised high during those lively times. On-screen legends Clark Gable and Constance Bennett embodied sophistication while sharing a cocktail in "After Office Hours" (1935).
