Colorful is a Japanese animated film released in 2010. It follows the story of a young boy, Makoto, who has been given the chance to be reborn as any person he chooses. He chooses to be reborn as an old man so that he can experience life from a different perspective and learn how to appreciate it. Throughout his journey, Makoto meets various people who help him understand the beauty of life and its many colors. He also learns about death and how it affects those around him. In the end, Makoto discovers that life is full of color and joy if you take the time to appreciate it. An uplifting story about finding joy in life's little moments and learning how to live each day with gratitude for what we have been given.
