"Unveiling the Spirit of Unity: Worker and Kolkhoz Woman, a testament to communist ideals. This powerful sculpture by Vera Mukhina stands tall in Moscow, reminding us of the collective strength that communism represents. In 1925, action was taken against communists as eight leaders were arrested. A pivotal moment in history that showcased the resistance faced by those who fought for equality and social justice. The Red Guard's entry into the Kremlin in 1917 marked a turning point in Russian history. This color lithograph captures their determination to establish a new order under communist principles. Vladimir Lenin, an iconic figure of the early Soviet Union, is depicted here during his time in Gorki. The vibrant lithograph reflects his influential leadership and dedication to building a socialist society. A mid-1920s KPD poster exemplifies the spread of communism beyond Russia's borders. It symbolizes international solidarity among workers striving for liberation from oppressive systems. Lenin's arrival in St Petersburg (now known as Petrograd) in 1917 ignited revolutionary fervor across Russia. This lithograph encapsulates the excitement and hope that accompanied this historic event. During the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), youth presented ten demands rooted in communist ideology—demanding freedom, justice, and equality for all Spaniards regardless of class or background. As Spain grappled with internal conflict during its civil war, adherents rallied under slogans like "Leed Verdad" (Read Truth) and "Union. Disciplina. " (Unity. Discipline. )—calling for unity amongst Spanish communists to fight fascism together. Campesinos—the rural working class—played an essential role during Spain's civil war; they stood united against oppression while fighting for land reform and fair treatment within society. In this tumultuous period of history, Spanish communists emerged as key players advocating for change amidst chaos—a beacon of hope for those seeking a more equitable and just society.
