Compassion, a universal language that transcends time and borders, and is beautifully depicted in various forms of art across different cultures and continents. In the bustling streets of Kathmandu, Nepal, a painting of Avalokitesvara, the Buddha of Compassion, captures the essence of empathy and kindness. Traveling westward to Europe, we encounter Pompeo Girolamo Batoni's masterpiece "Return of the Prodigal Son. This profound artwork evokes deep emotions within us while reminding us that true compassion often requires selflessness. A lace card depicting The Sacred Heart of Jesus from 19th-century lithography conveys divine love intertwined with human suffering.
