In Ludgate Hill, London, 1872, the bustling city streets were congested with horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians rushing about their daily lives. The crowded shipping docks were a hive of activity as sailors unloaded cargo from massive vessels, creating a chaotic scene of congestion. At Oxford (Regent) Circus in central London, the traffic was so dense that it seemed like an endless maze of vehicles struggling to navigate through the chaos. Moscow's streets became paralyzed by a massive traffic jam, where cars stood still for hours on end, highlighting the overwhelming congestion faced by its residents. A typical Sunday scene on a country road in 1925 showcased the growing density of automobiles causing congestion and frustration among drivers trying to reach their destinations. Above Rio de Janeiro in Brazil's South America loomed a favela - an overcrowded neighborhood perched precariously on hillsides - representing both poverty and urban congestion intertwined. The Pasadena Freeway leading to downtown Los Angeles in California witnessed bumper-to-bumper traffic jams during rush hour, illustrating the struggles commuters faced amidst constant congestion. Bolshaya Sadovaya street in Moscow boasted Stalin-style skyscrapers towering over congested roads below. The architectural marvels only added to the sense of claustrophobia experienced by those navigating through this metropolis. Mahabandoola Road in Yangon saw throngs of people jostling for space amidst heavy traffic as they went about their daily routines. The road epitomized Myanmar's struggle with urbanization and subsequent congestion issues. From atop Victoria Terminus or Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) station in central Mumbai, one could witness an expansive view marred by buildings upon buildings and teeming crowds below. This panorama encapsulated Mumbai's perpetual state of congestion and rapid growth. Vietnam's Danang fishing harbor depicted not just nets full of fish but also boats tightly packed together due to limited space, symbolizing the congestion faced by fishermen in their daily operations.
