Crab larvae, or cranch, are tiny, planktonic organisms that begin their life cycle in the ocean. These microscopic crustaceans hatch from eggs and develop into zooplankton, drifting with the currents and feeding on phytoplankton. As they grow, they transform into megalopae, which eventually metamorphose into juvenile crabs. Cranch play a crucial role in the food chain, providing sustenance for various marine species and contributing to the overall health of marine ecosystems.
