Dave Woolams is a legendary name in the world of motorcycle racing. With an impressive career spanning several decades, he has left his mark on various prestigious events. In 1987, Dave Woolams showcased his skills behind the wheel of a Suzuki during the Formula One TT race. The following year, he switched to Ducati and participated in the Formula One TT once again, proving his versatility as a rider. In 1991, Dave Woolams took on yet another challenge by joining Yamaha for the Formula One TT. His determination and passion were evident as he fearlessly tackled each turn and straightaway. Not one to shy away from competition, he also competed in Kawasaki's team during the 1987 Formula Two TT alongside Ian Young from Crooks Kawasaki. Throughout his career, Dave Woolams continued to push boundaries and achieve remarkable feats. In 2018, he returned to Suzuki for the Southern 100 race, demonstrating that age was no obstacle for this seasoned racer. Kawasaki seemed to be a recurring theme in Dave Woolam's career as he rode their bikes multiple times throughout different years. In both 1987 and 1993, he represented Kawasaki during the Formula One TT races with unwavering determination. The year 1986 saw him take part in yet another thrilling event - the Formula Two TT - where he rode a powerful Kawasaki bike once again.
