In 1989, riding a Suzuki, David showcased his skills at the Senior Manx Grand Prix. The roaring engines and adrenaline-filled atmosphere were no match for his determination as he crossed the finish line in triumph. The year 1992 proved to be a remarkable one for David. Racing for Cowles Yamaha, he dominated both the Junior TT and Junior Manx Grand Prix events. His speed and precision on the track were unmatched, leaving competitors in awe of his talent. Fast forward to 2007 when Grant Goodings on Yamaha joined forces with David on Honda during the TT Parade Lap. Together they formed an unstoppable duo that captivated spectators with their synchronized maneuvers and breathtaking stunts. Even after years in the industry, David's passion remained unwavering. In 2013, he participated in the Manx Grand Prix Parade astride a Honda bike once again. The crowd cheered as he effortlessly maneuvered through twists and turns like a true champion. However, it wasn't just motorcycles that defined David's career; football played its part too. Liverpool versus Arsenal in Division One was where history unfolded before our eyes. A nail-biting encounter ended with Arsenal emerging victorious – securing their League Title clincher at Anfield against all odds.
