In 1974, Filler participated in the Norton Formula 750 TT race, showcasing his exceptional talent in a massed-start practice experiment. The adrenaline rush of competing against fellow riders only fueled his desire to excel further. That same year, he also competed in the Norton Production TT race, displaying his mastery over the track. The following year proved to be equally remarkable for Filler as he triumphed in both the Norton Production TT and Classic TT races. His expertise on a Norton bike was unparalleled as he effortlessly maneuvered through challenging terrains and pushed himself to new limits. Filler's versatility shone through when he rode a Seeley bike during the 1974 Senior TT race. Despite facing tough competition from seasoned racers, Filler showcased his resilience and emerged victorious once again. Throughout his career, Filler embraced opportunities to ride different motorcycles. In 1979, he took on the Junior TT challenge astride a Yamaha bike and demonstrated why he was considered one of the best in the sport. In 1972 alone, he conquered both Production TT races riding a Norton before going on to claim victory once more aboard an Aermacchi Metisse during the Junior TT event.
