Among the standout participants were CM18 8011 Chris Chilcott, Steve Futter, and their awe-inspiring Frazer Nash Fast Tourer. The sleek design and roaring engine left spectators in awe as it gracefully maneuvered through the track. Another notable contender was CM18 9712 Tim Jacobsen, Laurence Jacobsen, who showcased their remarkable MG B. Its vibrant color caught everyone's attention while its performance on the racetrack proved why this classic car remains a fan favorite. CM18 8473 John Spiers and Neil Merry took center stage with their Ford Capri, leaving tire marks on the asphalt as they pushed its limits. Peter Ratcliff and Graham Scarborough also wowed the crowd with their skillful driving in another Ford Capri. John Cleland demonstrated his expertise behind the wheel of an Austin A30 Academy (CM19 0610), showcasing both speed and precision. Meanwhile, Simon Drabble impressed with his elegant Sunbeam Rapier (CM18 9058), capturing hearts with its timeless charm. Peter Mursall made multiple appearances throughout DHF 2017 alongside various co-drivers such as Daniel Mursall (CM18 9353/9451/8490). Together they dominated in their BMW CSLs, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and unmatched performance on every lap. Barry Louvel showcased his Triumph Herald Coupe (CM18 9098) with finesse while Matthew Holme turned heads with his Alfa Romeo CSS (CM18 9127), proving that classics never go out of style.
