Ethel Davies, a remarkable woman hailing from Richmond Hill View in Surrey, England, left an indelible mark on history. Born on June 28th, 1910, Ethel was not just any ordinary individual; she was a creator and visionary. One of her notable contributions was the creation of the Suffragette Song Anthem "March of the Women. " This powerful anthem became a rallying cry for women's rights and equality during a time when their voices were suppressed. Ethel Snowden Suffragist also played an instrumental role in advocating for women's suffrage. But Ethel's talents extended beyond activism. She had a keen eye for capturing beauty through her lens. Her photograph titled "Gather ye roses while ye may" showcased her artistic prowess and appreciation for nature's fleeting moments. Another masterpiece by Ethel Davies is "Ethel Levey, " captured by Kate Carew. This portrait exuded elegance and grace, showcasing Ethel's ability to capture the essence of individuals through photography. Not limited to still images alone, Ethel ventured into videography as well. Her work titled "Pack clouds away" depicted Lady Desborough with her sons Julian and Billy enjoying roller skating in 1912 when it was all the rage. Throughout her career, Ethel continued to explore different locations to showcase her talent behind the camera lens. From Cardiff's Mermaid Quay in 2009 to Birmingham's Boulton Watt Mudoch that same year - both creations bearing her name - she demonstrated versatility and adaptability as an artist. Yet even artists face challenges along their journey. Intruders occasionally disrupted Ethel Davies' creative process but did not deter her passion or dedication towards producing exceptional art pieces. For Ethel Davies, every photograph or video project undertaken was truly a labor of love – each frame meticulously crafted with care and attention to detail. Her legacy lives on through these captivating visuals that continue to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
