Alexandre Jean Joseph Falguière was a renowned French sculptor known for his exquisite works of art that captured the beauty and emotion of the human form. Born in Toulouse in 1831, Falguière studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris where he honed his skills and developed his unique style.
