Not far behind him was CM27 6991 Peter Morton, racing his Lightning Envoyette. The striking red color of his car caught everyone's attention as he maneuvered through the corners with precision and speed. Another standout performer was CM27 6992 Simon Diffey in his Lotus 20. Diffey displayed great control over his vehicle, making daring overtakes and pushing himself to the limit. Geoff Underwood (CM27 7027) impressed spectators with his Dolphin FJ. Its unique design turned heads as it zoomed past other cars on straightaways. Robin Longdon (CM27 7041) showcased exceptional driving skills in his Lola Mk3, proving that experience goes a long way in motorsports. John Hutchison (CM27 7049), piloting a Lotus 18, demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the race while battling against fierce competition.
