Former Yugoslavia, a land of diverse beauty and rich history. From the enchanting city of Belgrade in Serbia to the majestic Sveti Sava Orthodox Church, this region is a treasure trove of architectural wonders. In February 1984, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean brought glory to Great Britain by winning the gold medal, leaving an indelible mark on the skating world. Venturing further south to Macedonia, Ohrid beckons with its stunning Sveti Jovan at Kaneo Church from the 13th century. As morning breaks over Lake Ohrid, one can't help but be captivated by nature's masterpiece. Croatia's Dubrovnik offers a different kind of charm as we gaze upon its rooftops that seem to whisper tales of ancient times. But it is Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina that truly steals our breath away with its old Bridge over the Neretva river. This symbol of resilience stands tall amidst turbulent history and serves as a reminder of unity overcoming division. As we ascend for a bird's-eye view over Dubrovnik and Lokrum Island, our hearts are filled with awe at the sheer magnificence spread before us – an endless expanse merging sea and sky along Dalmatian Coast. Lake Bled in Gorenjska paints a picture straight out of fairytales while Rovinj in Istria invites us into its charming embrace. Trogir enchants us with Stari Grad's elevated view from above; every corner tells stories etched within time itself. Once again, Mostar captures our attention as we marvel at its old Bridge standing proudly against the backdrop of Neretva river – an emblematic sight embodying strength through adversity. The picturesque harbour town Hvar reveals itself from atop Citadel; here lies tranquility amidst vibrant blue waters that stretch endlessly towards horizons unknown.
