In 1973, Fred Walton took part in the Senior TT race astride his Velocette Metisse. The adrenaline rush and fierce competition pushed him to give it his all, resulting in a memorable performance that will forever be etched in history. The following year, Fred once again proved himself as a force to be reckoned with during the Junior TT race aboard his Seymour Velocette Metisse. His unwavering focus and precision riding earned him well-deserved recognition from fans and fellow racers alike. Not limited to competitive races alone, Fred also participated in classic parades throughout his career. In 1996, he proudly rode his iconic Velocette Metisse through the streets, showcasing its timeless beauty and paying homage to its rich heritage. His love for classic motorcycles was evident when he joined the Classic Parade once again in 1995 on a stunning Velocette bike. As he gracefully maneuvered through the parade route, spectators couldn't help but admire both him and his magnificent machine. Fred's success extended beyond Isle of Man races; he also triumphed at Jurby Airfield in 1975 astride his trusty Velocette Metisse.
