In the Valley of the Kings, amidst Tutankhamun's tomb, stands a double door that captivates with its intricate detailing. A glimpse reveals the goddess Isis in all her golden glory, an embodiment of power and mystique. Traveling eastward to India's Ladakh region, one encounters a sight that leaves onlookers awestruck. Inside the Chamkhang temple lies a colossal Maitreya Buddha shimmering with gold leaf. Its sheer size and exquisite gilding evoke a sense of divinity. Venturing further back in time, we encounter Saint Nicholas of Lipna through Alexa Petrov's artistry. This 13th-century masterpiece showcases his saintly figure against a backdrop embellished with delicate gilt accents - an homage to faith and devotion. Across continents in China, Kuan-Yin emerges as a Bodhisattva bathed in golden radiance from head to toe.
