Glasgow Central Station, Glasgow City (2010): A modern transport hub bustling with activity, a stark contrast to the City Centre's historic 1937 image. Memories of the past linger, such as the construction of the iconic Kingston Bridge in 1968, and the old railway refreshment room of 1948. But even then, a sense of progress was evident as porters John Healy and Robert White admired the new magpie mascot on 9th July 1956. Fast forward to 1988, and the station's transformation into a 3D city centre landmark was complete.
