"Revving Up the Excitement at Goodwood 72nd Members Meeting" The Goodwood 72nd Members Meeting was a spectacle of speed, skill, and classic cars that left enthusiasts in awe. From vintage beauties to roaring engines, this event had it all. CM1 0958 Ash Waller showcased his Sadler-BMC with finesse, while Barrie Williams wowed the crowd with his Bond-Ford. The track came alive as CM1 0997 Mike Yules and Phil Tarry raced their TVR Grantura Mk IIa, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats. But the excitement didn't stop there. CM1 0987 saw Chris Drake and Andy Prill take control of a powerful Chevrolet Corvette, its engine growling as they sped past. Nigel Garrett and Stuart Graham also made heads turn with their Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in CM1 0846. The Sunbeam Harrington Alpine driven by Guy Harman and Rupert Keegan added a touch of elegance to the race in CM1 1871. Meanwhile, John Goldsmith and G Goldsmith took command of an Aston Martin DB4GT (5000 HJ), showcasing both power and style. Ford lovers were not disappointed either. Mark Waghorn and Ludovic Lindsay impressed with their Ford Capri MkIII 3-0S in CM1 0893, while Stuart Caie and Dan Margulies showed off another stunning Capri MkIII in CM1 0883. One cannot forget Christopher Mann's Alfa Romeo Disco Volante (CM1 2545) competing for the prestigious Peter Collins Trophy or Simon Drabble's Jaguar D-Type (ASJ329). Rupert Wood's Widi-Climax gave tough competition alongside Oliver Bryant's Lotus Climax15 and Derek Hood's Lister Jaguar Costin – all adding to the thrill at Goodwood’s iconic event.
