"The Gordon Highlanders: Courage and Valor Through the Ages" Step back in time and witness the remarkable tales of bravery that define The Gordon Highlanders. From their heroic actions on the battlefield to their unwavering dedication, this Scottish regiment has left an indelible mark on history. In 1897, Piper Findlater etched his name into the annals of valor as he won the prestigious Victoria Cross at Dargai. His unwavering courage amidst adversity serves as a testament to the resilience of The Gordon Highlanders. Dating back to 1895, these Scottish regiments have proudly served in the British Army. A stunning color lithograph captures their strength and unity during this era, showcasing their distinctive tartan kilts and traditional attire. The Battle of Belmont in 1899 marked another significant chapter for The Gordon Highlanders. Engaged in the Boer-British War, they fought with unparalleled determination against formidable odds. A captivating color lithograph from 1900 immortalizes this historic clash. At Majuba Hill in 1900, artist Richard Caton Woodville II brings forth a vivid depiction of The Gordon Highlanders' relentless pursuit of victory during one of South Africa's most challenging battles. Their tenacity shines through as they face adversity head-on. As World War I rages on, we catch a glimpse into life at Longueval on July 14th, 1916. Pipers play haunting melodies amidst chaos and destruction—a poignant reminder of camaraderie amid unimaginable horrors. Venturing further into history reveals moments like "The Indian Frontier War" where The Gordon Highlanders storm Dargai Ridge with unmatched ferocity alongside Gurkhas in 1897 or when they join forces with Gurkhas once again during "The Afghan War" to storm Gandia Mullah in 1901—showcasing their unyielding spirit across continents.
