From the artistic Groth family tree, we find Klaus Johann Groth, a German poet, and his wife Jarmila. Their connection to Russian history is intriguing: Jarmila's portrait resembles Empress Elizabeth of Russia on horseback, attended by a page, as depicted in Anthony Walker's painting from the late 1700s. Meanwhile, in the 1860s, Yakov Groth, a Russian philologist and linguist, made significant contributions to the field. Fast forward to the 1930s, Gerda Groth, possibly another descendant, graced the art world with her presence in La femme accoude. Lastly, Klaus Groth, a contemporary Danish poet, left an indelible mark on German literature.
