" In 1871-1872, Makart created "The Ring of the Nibelung (Study), " showcasing his meticulous attention to detail and mastery of composition. This piece is a testament to his dedication to studying the subject matter before bringing it to life on canvas. Another notable work by Makart is the triptych titled "Modern Amoretti, " consisting of three panels: right, central, and left. Painted in 1868, these panels depict scenes that capture love's essence through vibrant colors and intricate details. Makart's fascination with different cultures is evident in his painting titled "Japanese Woman" from around 1873-1875.
