Hans Otto Butenuth, a legendary name in the world of motorcycle racing, left an indelible mark on the sport with his remarkable achievements. Born with a passion for speed and adrenaline, he etched his name into history books through numerous triumphs. In 1971, Hans Otto Butenuth showcased his exceptional skills at the Senior TT race riding a BMW bike. His unparalleled determination led him to victory once again in the Production TT category that same year. The following year, he continued to dominate the track by clinching another win in the Production TT event. But it was in 1973 when Hans Otto Butenuth truly made waves as he conquered yet another challenge - this time at the Formula 750 TT race astride a powerful BMW machine. Unyielding and relentless, he repeated this feat in 1974 while also securing victory at the Production TT event. As years passed, Hans Otto Butenuth's hunger for success never waned. In 1975, he showcased his versatility by conquering Classic TT on board a BMW bike. Later on, he switched gears and rode Honda motorcycles to claim victories at both Formula Two races - one in 1979 and another in 1980. Even after decades of racing experience under his belt, Hans Otto Butenuth remained undeterred from seeking new challenges. In 1996, riding an MZ Scorpion bike during Singlesa TT race proved that age was just a number for this extraordinary racer.
