"Reviving the Glory: A Historic Race Meeting Like No Other" In a thrilling display of vintage speed and timeless elegance, the historic race meeting at CM28 2216 Brian Webb showcased some of the most iconic racing cars from yesteryears. The roaring engines and screeching tires transported spectators back in time as they witnessed an exhilarating battle between classic machines. Amongst the standout contenders was CM29 8384 Clive Wood, skillfully maneuvering his Chevron B34 through every twist and turn with precision. Not far behind, CM25 8695 Clive Wood showcased his prowess in a Mallock Mk20B, leaving spectators in awe of his driving finesse. The track came alive with nostalgia as CM25 8067 Roger Watton unleashed the power of his Mallock Mk15, while CM25 7911 Brian Webb brought back memories with his Ford Anglia 105E. Their fierce rivalry added an extra layer of excitement to this historic gathering. CM28 2237 Robyn Slater took everyone's breath away as she expertly handled her Ford Lotus Cortina around each corner. Her grace on the track was matched only by her determination to conquer every lap. Not to be outdone, other participants left their mark on this unforgettable event. Steve Clamp (CM25 8072) demonstrated exceptional control over his Drat F1300, while Adrian Langridge (CM25 8546 & CM25 8599) wowed crowds with two remarkable performances in a March 803. Matthew Wrigley also made waves during this extraordinary race meeting; both CM29 entries - number plates:8416 &8362 - saw him masterfully piloting a March782 that seemed destined for victory. Last but not least, Andrew Hibberd (CM29-8363) proved himself worthy behind the wheel of a Brabham BT38, showcasing immense talent and passion for the sport.
