The Historic Touring Car Challenge brought together a remarkable lineup of iconic cars and talented drivers, creating an exhilarating spectacle on the track. Among the participants were CM7 5308 driven by Allen Tice and Chris Conoly, showcasing their skills behind the wheel of the legendary BMW 2002. The car's sleek design and powerful engine made it a force to be reckoned with. CM31 0883 was piloted by Darren Fielding, who demonstrated his expertise in handling the BMW E30 M3. This classic beauty proved its worth as it effortlessly maneuvered through corners, leaving spectators in awe. Ken Clarke and Tim Clarke took on the challenge with CJ7 2662, representing Triumph Dolomite Sprint. The roaring engine of this historic vehicle echoed throughout the racecourse as they pushed boundaries to secure victory. James Wood showcased his talent in CM15 3666, another Triumph Dolomite Sprint that left no stone unturned in pursuit of glory. Its distinctive appearance turned heads while its performance spoke volumes about its capabilities. Ian Giles and Alan Strachan embarked on their journey with CM2 1921 - a Rover P6 that exuded elegance and sophistication both on and off-track. Their seamless teamwork ensured they stood out among fierce competition. Simon Garrad embraced speed with CM32 3348 - a Nissan Skyline R32 known for its raw power and aerodynamic prowess. The thunderous sound of its engine reverberated across the circuit as Simon fearlessly tackled each turn. Robert Oldershaw commanded attention with CM30 9824 - a formidable Rover SD1 that combined style with sheer performance. Its commanding presence demanded respect from fellow competitors throughout every lap. Richard Hope dominated behind the wheel of CJ7 2680 - a BMW 635 that epitomized grace under pressure. His precision driving skills allowed him to navigate challenging sections flawlessly while leaving rivals trailing behind.
