"Horse and Cart: A Journey Through Time" Step back in time to witness the Suffragette demonstration on 21st May 1906, as women fought for their rights outside the Church of St Martin in the Bull Ring, Birmingham. In 1887, a horse-drawn cart made its way through the bustling streets of West Midlands, carrying barrels of molasses from West India Docks in London. An artist named Langfier captured this momentous scene with his lens. Transport yourself to Plaistow in 1909, where an old cottage stands as a testament to simpler times. The charm and history emanate from every weathered brick. Travel further into the past with Grouse Shooting on the Glentanar Estate in Aberdeenshire, depicted by an oil painting from 1889. The elegance of horse-drawn carriages adds grandeur to this traditional sport. Witness Covent Garden Market come alive in black and white glory as fruit is loaded onto carts in 1900. The hustle and bustle create a vibrant atmosphere that still lingers today. Cross Blackfriars Bridge over the River Thames and gaze upon London's skyline from north to south. Horse-drawn vehicles traverse this iconic landmark, connecting people across generations. Discover Stamford Lincolnshire through "Sketches from Nature" dating back to 1822. Horse-drawn carts navigate these picturesque streets, preserving memories etched within each stroke of ink. St Peters Church stands proudly amidst Broadstairs' coastal beauty since 1910. Imagine horses trotting along its cobbled paths while locals gather for Sunday service or community events. An Encounter on the Road unfolds before your eyes with a captivating oil painting circa 1900. A chance meeting between two horse-drawn carts sparks curiosity about their stories intertwining briefly on this journey called life. Le Pont de Langlois à Arles transports you to Vincent van Gogh's world in 1888.
