Howard Selby is a legendary motorcycle racer who has left an indelible mark on the world of motorsports. With an impressive career spanning several decades, Selby's name is synonymous with speed and skill. In 2019, Howard Selby showcased his talent at the Suzuki Classic Parade, where he wowed spectators with his exceptional riding abilities. The event was a testament to his enduring passion for motorcycles and his unwavering dedication to the sport. One of Selby's notable achievements came in 1990 when he participated in the Yamaha Supersport 600 TT. His performance in this race demonstrated his ability to navigate challenging terrains and push himself beyond limits. Selby's success extended beyond Yamaha as well. In 1986, he competed in the Formula One TT on a Suzuki bike, showcasing his versatility as a rider across different brands. This race proved that Selby could adapt to any machine and still deliver outstanding results. Collaborating with renowned racer Carl Fogarty in 1988 further solidified Howard Selby's reputation as one of the best riders of his time. Together they represented Honda and Yamaha respectively at the Formula One TT, leaving their competitors trailing behind them. The Senior TT holds immense prestige within motorcycle racing circles, and it was no surprise when Howard Selby triumphed in this category riding a Yamaha bike back in 1990. His victory cemented him as a force to be reckoned with on both national and international stages. Throughout his career, Selby also excelled on Kawasaki bikes. In races such as Production B TT (1987) or Production A TT (1988), he showcased Kawasaki's power while demonstrating impeccable control over these machines alongside fellow rider Rob Haynes. Not limited by brand or class restrictions, Howard Selby consistently pushed boundaries year after year.
