Amongst the impressive lineup, CM7 9942 driven by Peter Chappell stood out, showcasing the timeless beauty of an Austin Healey Sprite Mk1. Not to be outdone, CM7 9952 commanded attention as Larry Tucker skillfully maneuvered his MG Midget through every twist and turn. The crowd was captivated by the sheer power and agility displayed by these iconic vehicles. David Boland in his Ginetta G4 (CM7 9959) left spectators in awe with his exceptional driving skills, pushing both himself and his car to their limits. Meanwhile, Hugh Powell showcased precision driving in his Lotus Seven S2 (CM7 9955), leaving everyone breathless as he effortlessly weaved through the competition. The excitement continued to build throughout the day as David Boland returned to the track in another thrilling display of speed and control behind the wheel of his Ginetta G4 (CM7 9936). The roar of engines echoed across Donington Park, creating an electrifying atmosphere that only intensified with each passing lap. In addition to these classic beauties, modern racing machines also took center stage. Phillip Nelson's Chevron B8 (CM8 0830) dominated during the Guards Trophy race while Brian Cullen showcased impeccable handling skills in his Crossle 19F (CM8 1057). Stephen Pegram impressed onlookers with precise cornering maneuvers in his Ralt RT1 (CM8 1044), closely followed by Leif Bosson who exhibited equal finesse behind the wheel of another Ralt RT1 (CM8 1014).
