The Izmailovo Regiment, known as the Leib Guard Izmailovo Regiment, holds a significant place in Russian military history. This renowned regiment was captured beautifully by various artists throughout the years. One such depiction is Ladurner's artwork from 1846, showcasing the regal presence of the Izmailovo Regiment. The Parade of the Pavlovsky Guard Regiment on the Field of Mars in Saint Petersburg during the 1830s also captivated Ladurner's artistic eye. The Trinity Cathedral of the Izmailovsky Regiment stands tall and proud in Saint Petersburg since its construction in 1836. Karl Petrovich Beggrov immortalized this magnificent structure through his artistry. Gilbertson's works provide us with a glimpse into both past and present dress uniforms worn by members of the Izmailovo Regiment. His paintings from 1840 depict these soldiers' attire with great attention to detail. Samuel Solomon Chiflard showcases dress uniforms worn by members of the regiment back in 1818, giving us insight into their historical fashion choices. Razumikhin's portrayal from early 1840s depicts grenadiers belonging to not only Preobrazhensky and Semenovsky but also our beloved Izmailovsky Regiments between 1763-1775. Kotzebue takes us back to one of Russia's most famous battles - Borodino in 1812 - where we witness firsthand how valiantly our brave soldiers fought under their regimental banner. Chorikov brings forth two distinct images: a grenadier from our esteemed regiment dating back to 1762 and another displaying a grenadier cap used between1742-1762 during early1840s Borovikovsky commemorates Ioasaph Arbenev, an influential figure associated with our beloved regiment, through his stunning portrait created in1799 Belousov captures the essence of an under officer and soldier belonging to the Pavlovsky Guard Regiment
