His legacy is depicted vividly through various artworks such as "The Death of Pichegru" lithographs and engravings that capture significant moments from his life. One notable piece showcases the Capture of the Dutch fleet on the frozen Ijsselmeer by French hussars under General Pichegru's command in January 1795.
