"Jeff Gawley: A Sidecar Racing Legend" Step into the thrilling world of sidecar racing with Jeff Gawley, a true legend on the track. From his early triumphs alongside Francis Knights in the 1972 750 Sidecar TT for Triumph, to his daring fly over Ballaugh Bridge in 1974 with Ken Birch on the RMB Konig, Gawley's fearless spirit knew no bounds. In 1973, he teamed up with Peter Sales and their Konig machine to conquer the 500cc Sidecar TT. The following year, it was Graham Allcock who joined forces with Gawley as they powered through the competition on a BMW in the grueling 750 Sidecar TT. No stranger to victory, Gawley partnered with Kenny Birch on a Yamaha in 1976 for an unforgettable win at the prestigious 1000 Sidecar TT. But it wasn't just about winning; it was about pushing boundaries and leaving spectators awestruck. Gawley's partnership with Graham Alcock proved fruitful not once but twice. In both 1970 and 1971, they dominated the field on BSA and BMW machines respectively during intense battles in the fierce competition of the Sidecar TT races. The start line was always electrifying when Richard Wegener and Jeff Gawley revved their engines together for an adrenaline-fueled ride at the beginning of the highly anticipated 500 Sidecar TT race in 1972. Returning to his successful collaboration with Peter Sales aboard a Konig machine, Gawley secured another victory at the demanding event - this time conquering both speed and precision during an exhilarating run atthe750ccSidecarTTin1973.
