Their exceptional skills and unwavering determination propelled them to victory, etching their names into racing folklore. Fast forward to 2023, and John Holden teamed up with Maxime Vasseur once again for another shot at glory. Riding a powerful LCR Yamaha machine, they showcased unparalleled teamwork and precision during the Sidecar TT race that year. However, it was not only with Maxime that John Holden achieved greatness. In 2003, alongside Colin Hardman on a Fanuc Yamaha bike, he demonstrated his versatility by clinching yet another remarkable triumph at the Sidecar TT. The year 2018 witnessed a memorable partnership between John Holden and Lee Cain aboard a Honda LCR vehicle. Together they defied all odds to claim victory in one of the most fiercely contested races in recent memory. Reflecting back on his early years in racing brings us to 1988 when John Holden collaborated with David Burgess on a Yamaha machine for the Sidecar TT event. This marked one of his earliest successes but certainly not his last. In more recent times, John Holden joined forces with Dan Sayle riding an LCR Suzuki bike during the thrilling Southern 100 race in 2022. Their electrifying performance left spectators awe-struck as they pushed boundaries like never before. Throughout his career spanning decades, there have been numerous partnerships that have defined John's legacy.
