Jose Alcazar Tejedor (1850-1911) was a renowned artist known for his exquisite paintings. His works often depicted historical events and figures, capturing the essence of their stories with great precision. One of his notable pieces is "General San Martin, " which portrays Martí Boneo (1829-1915), an influential military leader during the Argentine War of Independence. This oil painting captures a historic event where Pedro I ordered the executioners to cut off their fellow conspirators' heads after they were discovered plotting against him.
