The Marian column is a beautiful and significant sculpture found in various locations across Europe. One such example can be seen on Alsovo namesti in Pisek, South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. This detailed sculpture stands as a testament to the rich history and cultural heritage of the area. In February 2021, against the backdrop of a snow-covered Old Town Square at twilight in winter, the Marian column at Alsovo namesti shines with an ethereal beauty. It stands proudly near the Church of our Lady before Tyn, creating a picturesque scene that captures the essence of this enchanting region. Traveling further through Czech Republic's Vysocina Region, one encounters another remarkable Marian column in Telc. Its presence adds to the charm and character of this historic town. Venturing into Germany's Upper Bavaria region brings us to Murnau, where two contrasting scenes unfold around different Marian columns.
