"Marie Antoinette: A Tragic Queen's Journey Through History" In Louis XVI (1754-93) Taking Leave of his Wife and Family, 1793, we catch a glimpse of the poignant farewell between Marie Antoinette and her husband before their lives were forever changed. The coloured engraving captures the emotions that engulfed them during this tumultuous time. Fast forward to Portrait of Marie-Antoinette with a Rose, 1906, where an exquisite chromolithograph immortalizes the queen's beauty and grace. This artwork serves as a reminder of her enduring legacy despite the tragic end she met. Step into the Boudoir at Trianon in Versailles, captured by John L Stoddard in the late 19th century. This intimate space offers insight into her personal life and taste for opulence. The expiatory chapel of Louis XVI in Paris is depicted through a delicate watercolor from c. 1830. It stands as a solemn tribute to both Marie Antoinette's beloved husband and their ill-fated reign. Witness The French Royal Family en route to the Assembly in 1792 - an image frozen in time that showcases their vulnerability amidst political unrest. These moments would ultimately shape Marie Antoinette's destiny. Viewing View of Petit Hameau from 1782-85 takes us to one of her cherished retreats within Versailles' grounds. Here, she sought solace away from courtly obligations while indulging in pastoral fantasies. The Tomb of Louis XVI and his family reveals hidden silhouettes within its somber walls - silent witnesses to their tragic fate between 1793-1800. An anonymous creator pays homage to those who lost their lives during this turbulent period. Landscape containing seven silhouettes further emphasizes the impact left by these historical figures on society during those dark times (1793-1800).
