" This enchanting performance showcased her extraordinary skills and established her as a rising star in the ballet realm. An exquisite engraving captures this defining moment of her career. This remarkable event brought together four legendary ballerinas: Carlotta Grisi, Lucille Grahn, Fanny Cerrito, and our beloved Marie Taglioni herself. As time went on, Marie continued to enthrall audiences with new creations like the Mazurka danced in "La Gitana" circa 1840. She pushed boundaries and embraced innovation while staying true to classical techniques that defined ballet during that era. However, all good things must come to an end.
