Mark Linton, a name synonymous with speed and precision in the world of motorcycle racing. From his early days on the Yamaha TZ250 to his later triumphs on various other bikes, Linton has left an indelible mark on the sport. In 1985, riding the CM32 7679 Yamaha TZ250, Linton showcased his talent at the Newcomers Manx Grand Prix. The roar of his engine echoed through the Isle of Man as he fearlessly navigated every twist and turn. The following year, Linton switched gears to a Honda bike for the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix. With CJ12 5833 emblazoned on his machine, he pushed himself to new limits and etched another chapter in his racing legacy. But it was with Yamaha that Linton truly found his stride. In 1987's Junior Manx Grand Prix, astride a CM34 4112 Yamaha TZ250L, he demonstrated unparalleled skill and determination as he raced against some of the finest competitors in history. Not one to rest on past achievements alone, Linton continued to push boundaries throughout his career. In 2003's Junior Classic Manx Grand Prix, this time aboard an Aermacchi bike bearing CJ12 5271 markings alongside Luke Hedger's Triumph Bonneville; he proved that age is just a number when it comes to passion for speed. Yet amidst all these victories and accolades lies something even more remarkable – Mark Linton's unwavering love for motorcycles. Whether it be competing in iconic races or simply enjoying leisurely rides along scenic routes; two wheels have always been an extension of who he is, and is this deep-rooted passion that has made him not only a formidable racer but also a respected figure within the motorsport community. His dedication shines through each race track conquered and every challenge overcome.
