"The Mayflower: A Journey of Hope and Perseverance" In 1620, the iconic Pilgrim ship Mayflower embarked on a historic voyage across treacherous seas. With its sails billowing in the wind, it braved the vast expanse of the ocean, carrying a group of brave souls seeking religious freedom. As it arrived at Plymouth Harbor in 1882, artist William Formby Halsall immortalized this momentous occasion.
