Step back in time to the thrilling world of motorsport with the MCC Lands End Trial. This iconic event, held in various locations across England from 1929 to 1939, showcased the skill and determination of some of the finest drivers and their magnificent machines. One such competitor was Riley Lynx of AR Rye, who fearlessly took on the treacherous terrain during the 1935 trial. The artist Bill Brunell beautifully captured this moment, immortalizing Lynx's bravery for all to see. Joining Lynx in this adrenaline-fueled adventure was MG PA of RA MacDermid from the Cream Cracker Team. Their unwavering spirit and dedication were evident as they pushed themselves to their limits. In 1939, CJ Dennis rode his powerful 498 cc Triumph up Beggars Roost on Exmoor, leaving spectators awe-struck by his sheer mastery over his machine. It was a sight that would be etched into their memories forever. The roaring sound of a Harley-Davidson echoed through Wadebridge, Cornwall in 1933 as RW Praill tackled Hustyn Hill during the MCC Lands End Trial. His determination knew no bounds as he conquered every obstacle that came his way. Gardner of HH Vaughan-Knight proved himself a force to be reckoned with during the challenging Beggars Roost section in Devon in 1929. His skills behind the wheel left spectators breathless with admiration. RW Everard showcased both speed and precision while maneuvering his Singer Junior through Beggars Roost that same year. The crowd watched on eagerly as he navigated each twist and turn with finesse. Bill Brunell once again captured an unforgettable moment when Swift competed at Beggars Roost during the MCC Lands End Trial in 1929. The artist's attention to detail perfectly depicted both car and driver battling against nature's obstacles.
