Michael Pacher: Master of Alpine Art (c. 1435-1501). Known for his intricately detailed and vividly colored works, Pacher left an indelible mark on Austrian art. His masterpieces include "The Devil Presenting St. Augustin with the Book of Vices" (c. 1455-98), "Nativity" (1471-81) from the St. Wolfgang Altarpiece, and "St. Wolfgang and the Devil" (1471-75). His oil paintings, such as the "Visitation of Mary," showcase his exceptional skill in capturing human emotion and spiritual depth.
