"Exploring the Fascinating World of Monkeys: From Endangered Monkey Puzzle Trees to Playful Macaques" Monkey puzzle trees, scientifically known as Araucaria imbricata or Araucaria araucana, are captivating evergreens that have survived for millions of years. These ancient trees, native to South America and now endangered, feature sharp and spiky leaves resembling a puzzle. Their unique appearance has earned them the nickname "monkey puzzle tree. " In Southeast Asia's Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud, Bali, visitors can witness the enchanting sight of long-tailed macaques swinging from tree branches.
