"Thrilling Rivalries and Unforgettable Moments: The National Championship" The roar of engines filled the air as the nation's finest drivers geared up for an epic battle on the race track. CM26 2182 Michael Loveland, behind the wheel of his Hillman Imp Deluxe, was determined to prove his worth against CJ7 5352 Paul Inch in his nimble Mini Cooper. But it wasn't just a two-horse race. CM26 2043 Terry Trust showcased his skills in the Swift FR90, while CM26 2363 Tom Abbott pushed boundaries with his Ford Capri. Meanwhile, CM26 2044 Peter Lague unleashed the power of Jedi MKVI, leaving spectators awestruck. Not to be outdone, CJ7 5373 Andrew Wilson roared into action with his Holden Monaro, challenging every contender that crossed his path. And who could forget Alan Eason? He made waves not once but twice with back-to-back appearances in a Ford Fiesta XR2 (CM26 2358 and CM26 2394). As tensions rose on each lap, Martin Reynolds maneuvered skillfully through corners in his Ford Escort Mk1 (CM26 2364), leaving competitors trailing behind. Neil Bray proved that size doesn't matter when he fearlessly raced in a Mini Cooper (CM26 2161). Paul Cooper showed off impeccable control as he dominated the track with a Ford Cortina Mk1 GT (CJ7 5324). His brother Paul Cooper also left no room for doubt about their family's racing pedigree by showcasing exceptional talent in another Cortina Mk1 GT (CM26 2154). With each turn and every acceleration down straightaways, these fearless racers battled fiercely for glory at this year's National Championship. The crowd held its breath as they witnessed heart-stopping overtakes and nail-biting finishes. In this high-stakes competition, it was more than just a race.
