Leo Fontan continued this trend in his illustrations for La Vie Parisienne, showcasing women's swimming once again but with a touch of elegance and sophistication that defined 1920s France. Georges Pavis took a different approach in his artwork for La Vie Parisienne. In America during this time period sheet music jazz soared in popularity thanks to iconic composers like Irving Berlin who penned classics such as "Alexander's Ragtime Band. " These tunes filled dance halls across the nation with infectious energy. Ovaltine emerged on the scene in 1929 as a popular drink choice for tennis enthusiasts looking for refreshment after an intense match on court. Le Sourire magazine pushed boundaries further with its provocative content featuring drunks engaging in orgies at champagne-fueled parties - truly capturing the decadence and indulgence of the 1920s.
