In the heart of Liverpool's slums, on a somber day in June 1962, our picture captures a poignant moment. A weary mother stands at the entrance of a passageway, her eyes filled with both determination and despair, and is a glimpse into the harsh reality faced by many families during this time. Traveling back to December 5th, 1961, we find ourselves in the backstreets of Conway Street, off Great Homer Street in Everton. Here lies another passageway that tells its own story. Heading westward towards Florida's Panhandle region brings us face-to-face with Fort Barrancas - an imposing US Civil War-era fort nestled amongst lush greenery.
