"Pavements: A Global Journey Through Time and Space" From the bustling Main Street in East Hampton, Long Island, New York State, to the quaint Trelowarren Street in Camborne, Cornwall around 1870; from the majestic Gloucester Cathedral in the city center of Gloucester, England to the charming Piazza Centrale in Ravello, Italy; they have been witnesses to countless stories across continents. In a vintage photograph taken on Oxford Street back in 1900, we catch a glimpse of people strolling along its iconic pavement. Meanwhile, at sunrise on Holy Island's Lindisfarne Castle in Northumberland, England; one can almost hear the gentle footsteps echoing on its ancient pathway.
